Extra Thoughts

I remember the fairy tale genre puzzle game "Princess Curse" I played before five years. In that game, the player will act as the protagonist, a knight who traveled for a tower on a quest to save a princess. After the knight sees a witch in the tower, he pulls out his sword and tries to kill her without any other scripts about why the witch is wicked and prisons the princess. In the true ending, the witch becomes a beautiful princess. The knight, the savior, marries her, of course, and they live happily ever after, as old fairy tales.

In a way, that sounds logical and common. Many players might take it as granted. Witches are wicked, princesses are locked in towers and waiting for their saviors. However, when I finished playing the game, I was confused. In the false ending, the knight uses a black flower to kill the witch, but he becomes the witch after that. In the true ending, the knight uses a white flower to kill the witch, but the powerful witch becomes a beautiful princess. Why they can live happily ever after when they don't know each other? Also, where is the witch? If the princess is the witch, why she chooses to do so? Does she really need a knight to save her and a marriage to be happy ever after? If the witch does not hurt anyone, which is actually unclear in "Princess Curse", she has rights to live by her own in a tower and learn witchery. In other words, she can be independent and powerful and has rights to control and decide her own life.

My confusion at fifteen becomes this project. I hope I can tell the story behind shallow models, and express to you that no matter who you are, you have the rights to choose the life you want and your rights should be protected and respected; if you wish, you can live a successful and wonderful life with or without a marriage, with or without a female or male lover or your friends.

I hope you can enjoy my story ^_^
